Kozan Mohitsu is a free brush-style font created by calligrapher Kozan Aoyanagi, who has a Japanese calligraphy school in Osaka. The reserved thickness of the brush brings out a certain eloquence in the font. Character widths are proportional, and there are several different types of characters, including hiragana, katakana, the alphabet, numerals, kanji characters from the JIS level-1 and level-2 kanji sets, as well as 6,000 additional kanji. Line widths are slender, and the font reflects the ink blotches and graininess that occur in real life calligraphy. The kanji and katakana characters are sharp, giving the font a clean look. This font is perfect to use for calligraphy and kanji tattoos.
